"HA HA HA! Brilliant, Cho!" I cheer at the clever trick my friend just played on Malfoy. "Brilliant! HA HA!" I resume flying, still laughing at Malfoy when a bludger comes flying at me, I swerve and avoid it. One collision is enough for me! However, it's not for the stupid snakes. Devaki, apparently mad that she missed me flies right into me. I manage -amazingly- to keep control of my broom, however, I'm going to be sore after this game. TWO collisions! Ouch!
Madam Hooch blows her whistle, "FOUL! FOUL! TERRIBLE SPORTSMANSHIP"
I'm given the quaffle, but that last collision left me a bit dazed, and I don't throw with my usual speed. Consequently, the Slytherin keeper easily blocks my throw. Damn!
RAVENCLAW
SCORES!
Author: Prescott Clearwater
Date: 07-17-02 20:43
The Quidditch match between Ravenclaw and Slytherin was one that everyone would remember for years to come. Lee Jordan had been ejected from one of his last games as commentator for swearing at Simon Samhain, and two players who survived a near fatal crash into each other!
Back to the game...
Sykra Sawyer passes Clearwater the Quaffle. He passes it to Forest, and she makes a fake shot, then passes it to Clearwater! He flings it through the lowest hoop. Slytherin Keeper Pyrrhus Fine just missed his block!
Professor Flitwick shouts, "RAVENCLAW SCORES!"
He squeaks and says, "Oh, good work, Mr. Clearwater!"
Professor McGonagall gave him a look similar to the one she gives to Lee when he shows favoritism.
Prescott passes the quaffle to Sykra Sawyer and flies around for another play!
He flies around to the Gryffindor stands and blows a kiss to Ginny, and sees Harry Potter who looks at me then looks at Ginny.
An Offer He

Harry, hardly able to contain his excitement, quickly accepts Dierna's offer. In the years since learning he is a wizard and how his parents really died, Harry has learned very little about his father and even less about his mother. People who knew them often seem reluctant to say much so no way is he turning down the chance to hear more about her as well as to have some of his mother's things given to him. Added to his sudden jubilant feeling is finding out he's got a godmother. Harry considers his godfather Sirius to be part of his family so he's sure he'll come to think of Dierna that way as well.
Harry is so happy at the moment he doubts that this joyous mood would be burst even if Slytherin beats Ravenclaw.

Hermione and Ron were sitting in the library, going through textbook after textbook. As usual, the bushy-haired girl was adamant that they prepare everything well beforehand, because there simply was so much to learn and not enough time to do it. Ron thought this to be very absurd, but he knew that if Hermione wasn't keeping him in check, he'd procrastinate so much that he'd surely not do as well as he possibly could. Besides, this year the fifth years were taking the OWLs as opposed to regular finals. This year things were all the more serious.
Hermione was quite disappointed that she wasn't able to drag Harry along to the study session. Instead, Harry was having a good time at the Quidditch game with Hagrid and Dobby. After an hour or so, Ron was itching to go to the Pitch to catch the rest of the game. He kept fidgeting and sighing dramatically, until Hermione finally agreed to let him go.
Ron smiled wide and kissed Hermione on the cheek before bolting out of the library and out of the castle to find Harry in the stands of the Pitch. Hermione sighed quietly and rolled her eyes, picking up her quill to jot down some notes. After a while, she got up to search for a book on advanced potions to cross reference some of the material she had already learned. As she perused the aisles, she found Majandra studying at a small table alone. Rather than disturb her roommate by striking up a conversation, Hermione simply nodded politely and as she focused her attention back to the bookshelf, she thought to herself, At least someone has her priorities in order!
Go Ravenclaw!

Bronwyn, Toby, Kendra, and Hunter sat together at the Quidditch game. Although nothing was official between the first pair, it was obvious that the four friends had coupled up. Kendra and Hunter were holding hands, but Bronwyn and Toby were not...exactly. Her right hand and his left were placed next to each other on the seat in between them, fingers brushing together every once in a while.
The four Hufflepuffs were extremely pleased that Ravenclaw was in the lead and cheered enthusiastically when Prescott scored again.
Hello!
Author: Dean Thomas
Date: 07-18-02 18:48
Dean had left the library and headed toward the entrance to Hogwarts when he saw a pack of Slytherins picking on two poor 4th year Gryffindors.
A 5th year Slytherin was about to do something to Ian Weasley when Dean quickly snuck up behind the leader with a wand in his back and said, "DROP IT!"
Nott slowly turned around and put his wand away. Crabbe and Goyle did the same.
"When are you Slytherins going to leave people alone?" said Dean angrily.
Nott replied, "When Muggles and their supporters leave this school! Hahahaha! Let's go boys! Oh and Weasley, I'll deal with you and Potter's fan boy later!"
They left the castle, headed toward the game...
Dean frees Colin of the body bind and pulls Ian up who had fallen.
"Thanks Dean. If you hadn't come! Oh gosh!" Ian said.
Dean asked, "What did you see them doing?"
This time Colin spoke who was shivering, "You don't want to know! If we told you, you could be in serious danger!"
Dean agreed and the trio walked back to Gryffindor Commons, looking behind their backs most of the way.

Doubly sore from the two collisions, I try to ignore the aching as I continue flying around, looking for an opportunity to score again. The quaffle is thrown my way and I catch it. But this time, instead of trying to score myself, I fake it and then quickly toss the quaffle toward Prescott. He easily catches the quaffle and scores. "All right! Nice one, Prescott!"
I resume circling and see the quaffle, now a bit lower than me to the far end of the field. If I dive fast enough, I can probably catch it . . . I am close, SOO close when suddenly a snake flies right into my line of flight. Cunning serpents! Causing a collision and making it look as if it's my fault! Unfortunately, the plan is going to work. I am going too fast to stop on time. The only I can do brace myself for my third collision of the game.
WHAM!! I am definitely going to be hurting for a few days.
Madam Hooch blows her whistle "FOUL! Unacceptable behaviour, I expect better from a Ravenclaw!" I try to explain that it wasn't my fault. Its no use though, flying to someone is a foul. I just hope our keeper blocks their penalty shot.
And, of course, that Cho (who is by far the better seeker) catches the snitch.
It's a Date!

"Terrific! I look forward to seeing you. Here's my address." I fish around in the small pouch I carry for something to write my address on. I find one of my business cards, which has words running across it the neon signs muggles use in the cities for advertising:
Dierna Ni Ciaran,
Head Auror, Dept. of MLE
Hogwarts Graduate, Gryffindor House.
Then I take a quill and write on the back '10 Vertic Alley, Hogsmeade.' "I'm right around the corner from the Three Broomsticks. The large Tudor house with an oak tree in front."
Just then I see that redheaded chaser have a third collision, this one a clever Slytherin team-member's set up. I flinch in sympathy. "THREE times in one game! That poor girl is going to be smarting! I see Slytherin's quidditch strategies are the same as when I was playing: win at all costs. Not that that's too surprising. Doesn't say much for their team's skill, though, does it?"

Sammi had slept for a good while when she woke up again. Clearly the game was still going, for the entire castle was empty, save a few ghosts and house elves. She had gone down the Great Hall for a late lunch and finally decided to go to the game.
When she arrived they were well into the game. Finding a seat in the Gryffindor tower she sat alone watching the game. After a while it grew a little boring for her. Sammi didn't fancy sitting alone at a game. So she once again she stood up and left the game.
Something

Author: Jet
Date: 07-18-02 20:20
Jet, slinking down a hallway under cover of one of the useful treasures found in the hidden cave chamber, thinks to himself, "Thanks to my pal Sal, that rotter Potter isn't the only one with an invisibility cloak now. Bet Mr. Goody Gryffindor doesn't use his for spying and skulking around doing things nice Hufflepuffs shouldn't do either."
He almost laughs aloud at the malicious thoughts running through his mind but Jet catches himself. Most everyone's at the game but there are still enough others hanging around who could overhear laughter coming from nowhere and get suspicious. Jet knows that despite the cloak, he's still got to take things carefully.
He passes by the teacher's staff room and is surprised to see the door standing wide open. Hidden by the cloak, Jet cannot resist entering the room and poking around. To his utter amazement Jet sees copies of Professor's Binn's History of Magic tests for all his classes next week. A sly grin spreads over Jet's face. After making sure the professor's ghost wasn't anywhere to be seen, Jet snatches a quill and parchment then hastily copies the fourth year's test. Once done, Jet slinks out of the staff room thinking that the test will be so much easier to pass now that he knows all the questions. Now he won't have to spend time studying when there are so many more interesting things to do.
Continuing on his way, Jet finally arrives at a family door. He tests it and mutters sarcastically to himself, "The woman got wise. No more open door policy for Adriana. Easy to solve. Gotta thank Sal for all his help."
Under the cloak, Jet points his wand at the now locked and spelled door. Using knowledge he gained from reading the large tome in the cave, Jet is able to quickly get the door open. He looks up and down the hall for signs of anyone and listens hard for sounds of footsteps then slides quietly into Professor Fairchild's quarters. Jet goes straight to the jewelry box in the bedroom. No longer needing the bracelet's charmed key to get in and out of the chamber, Jet deposits it back where he found it months before. Along with the bracelet a one line note is left, written in an outdated style of script.
I know who - and what - you are.
With Aussie...Eyeing
Neo...
Author: Prote Spacy
Date: 07-18-02 23:12
Prote watched the game with Australia. Kissing her on the cheek, she looked into Prote's eyes smiling widely. Then her gaze was set onto Neo... Prote followed suit... took a glance at Aussie, then back at Neo.
Prote nudged Neo on the arm. "Psst!... What's up, Neo? You haven't even been paying attention to the game!" said Prote. Neo was shaken back into reality. "What?... Oh, it's nothing... Just thinking about my...uh...cricket! Yeah... I accidentally sat on it in Potions..." Neo replied. Prote stared and heard some movement on the other side of where he was sitting. Aussie seemed to have heard the news.. Prote looked at her and then back to Neo. "Huh...???" he said. Neo's story didn't make any sense!
"Man... I loved that cricket!" said Neo, kinda cheerfully... Prote looked at Neo as if he were the strangest thing alive... "Ooookay....." said Prote, then placed his attention back on the game.
Fouls
Author: Isolde
Date: 07-19-02 08:40
Furious at how the game was going, Isolde streaked through the sky like a torpedo, fiercely hungry to get that quaffle and to put a few points on the scoreboard for Slytherin. It would be nice if Draco could catch that bloody snitch, too!
As she zoomed along, she had to swerve suddenly, when Sykra had to dodge a bludger, causing her to move directly into Isolde's flight path. "Watch it, Saywer!" Isolde spat, and then she shot forwards.
She heard Sykra mutter something offending behind her back, so Isolde jerked her broom around quickly, finding herself in a mid-collision with Lilah Baldwyn.
"Foul!" cried Madam Hooch, and Ravenclaw was allowed to attempt a penalty shot. Without much effort, Pyrrhus was able to block it.
Isolde breathed a sigh of relief and focused her attention back on recovering the quaffle. Azaelia snatched it and attempted to toss it at her cousin, who was wide open, but just as the ball left Azaelia's fingertips, Isolde was hit from behind with a beater's bat.
She clutched the back of her head and turned to see what had happened. Lilah had backed up to her in order to hit a bludger, and had accidentally hit Isolde in the process. Isolde winced at the throbbing pain in her head and pointed her broom downwards.
Madam Hooch shouted, "Foul!" once again, and called a time out to see if Isolde needed assistance.
Although eager to get back into the game, Madam Hooch felt it best that Isolde sit the remainder of the game out and allowed Pete Marsh to take the penalty shot for her. Isolde sighed, nursing her head as she watched Pete set up for the goal attempt.

MAN!! That was lame! thought Neo, after that answer he gave to Prote. Now it was obviously clear that Neo had his thoughts set on girls... he just didn't want anyone to know.
Neo looked around, spotting some really good lookin' chicks... who were already coupled with some other boys... Neo sighed and stared up at the sky...
And the Game
Continues...
Author: Pyrrhus
Date: 07-19-02 15:34
Anger at seeing Isolde hurt clouds Pyrrhus's vision to the point that he doesn't even see Pete successfully get the penalty shot past Jelica Carter. As Professor Flitwick announces, "Marsh scores! Slytherin now trails the outstanding Ravenclaw team by thirty points!" Py shakes his head and forces himself to focus.
He doesn't know what Slytherin's problem is this game. With the exception of short moments here and there, they've not played as a team. Clara, Pete and Lia all seem to be elsewhere. Draco's presence as been virtually non-existent. Simon almost seems to have his own agenda. Isolde's now out of the game, and Py's been having trouble concentrating. At this rate, Cho will easily get the snitch. Pyrrhus really doesn't think he could stomach losing to the ReigningClods by at least 180 points.
All the movement at the other end of the pitch rapidly shifts toward the Slytherin goals. Py crouches low over his broom, hovering well past the center goal so that he can dart quickly to one side if needed. The quaffle changes hands so many times between the two teams that for several minutes no one gets past midfield in either direction. At last, Clearwater manages to break free of the pack to come whooshing towards Pyrrhus. As Clearwater tries to fake Py out as to which hoop he's going for, Simon aims a bludger at the other boy's back. Much to Simon's chagrin, it narrowly misses the other boy's back. Clearwater gets into range to shoot, his arm cocked back with the quaffle at the ready. Almost out of nowhere, Clara appears, malevolent grin on her face, batting a bludger straight at the Ravenclaw chaser. Py shares Clara's grin at the satisfying smacking sound the bludger makes as it hits Clearwater straight on, throwing his goal attempt off course.
Py cheers on his teammates as another scramble for the quaffle takes place while fervently hoping Draco will get into action soon and find that snitch!

Me Eyeing
Neo?
Author: Australia Kingston
Date: 07-19-02 16:58
Australia knew what Prote had been thinking. Me eyeing Neo. Ha-ha. Now that's a good one. When it looks like Prote's attention is back on the game, Aussie leans over and kisses Prote on the cheek forcing him to look at her.
"I know what you were thinking," I say clearly. "You were thinking that something was going on between Neo and I. And don't give me that "That's not what I was thinking" look because I know that's what you were thinking."
Prote sighing says, "Yah, that's what I was thinking. Just to clarify, there is nothing going on between you and Neo is there?" He sat holding his breath waiting for her answer.
When she finally spoke she said, "Babes, do you think this would give you the idea that anything was going on between Neo and me." Then she kissed him deeply. When she ended the kiss, he was still a bit dazed.
Shaken he said, "Nope, that tells me you're all mine." "Good because I am all yours. There's nothing between Neo and I. I was only helping him find a girl. So I was looking at all of his qualities so I could help him. Don't worry. You've got nothing to fear." Then she kissed him again and returned her attention back to the game, wildly cheering for Ravenclaw. Prote sighed in relief and turned his attention back to the game also.
Finale
Author: Dobby
Date: 07-19-02 23:33
Dobby tightly squeezes his hands together as yet another collision nearly takes place. His round head moves quickly back and forth as the action shifts from one end of the pitch to the other. For nearly an hour the score remains Ravenclaw 50, Slytherin 20, with neither seeker showing signs of spying the snitch. Dobby lost count of how many goal attempts have been made by each side. His throat feels scratchy from yelling loudly at so many excellent plays and at booing all the sly Slytherin tactics.
Simultaneously, from opposite ends of the pitch, Cho and Draco make sudden, dramatic dives toward the same point at center field. Dobby is now clutching Harry's arm while jumping up and down on his seat and screaming encouragement to Cho. A collective gasp rises from the stands as people cringe and flinch in anticipation of a spectacular collision involving both seekers and the hard, cold, packed earth.
In a blur of colors, Draco and Cho seem to converge, both pulling up at the exact same time, passing so closely that for a split second they seem to meld into one being. A huge cheer erupts from the Slytherin stands as a triumphant Draco holds up the snitch in one hand, a smirk of superiority plastered on his face. Cho's shoulders sag at realizing she's come up empty handed. Dobby loudly sighs as a deflated Professor Flitwork announces, "An amazing catch by Malfoy. Slytherin wins with a final score of 170 over Ravenclaw's 50."
A rather wilted Dobby sighs then thanks Harry for allowing him to sit there. Dobby feels so depressed over the Slytherin win he decides the only thing to cheer him up is a trip to Gladrag's Wizardwear for a new pair of socks.
