Adam & Quidditch
Author: Cho Chang
Date: 06-22-02 16:05

Cho and Adam sat side by side in the Ravenclaw section, Adam payed attention to the game for the most part because he was Captain of the Ravenclaw team. Cho payed attention at some parts because she hadn't thought of anything else to distract her at the moment. Adam and Cho stand and cheer as Hufflepuff scores, one of the mutual friends, Orlando Devons, being a Hufflepuff and all.

As they sit back down, Cho wasn't sure if she reached her hand to his, he reached his to hers or it was equal reaching by both of them, but a hand was gently holding hers. She smiles, looking down to catch a glimpse of her hand in Adam's, she squeezes it gently as she looks up, catching his eyes momentarily before both of their attentions are reluctantly drawn back to the game. She felt awkward, as though she'd been born yesterday and had never even talked to a boy when she was around him. It was a scary yet welcome feeling, one she hadn't felt in a long time.

Cho moves closer to Adam, it was rather cold this January morning, at least that was her answer when he asked her if she was cold; but when he offered her his jacket she gracefully declined. Her eyes had turned back to the game, but his lingered on her for a moment as he slipped his fingers through hers. Cho smiled a little with a knowing look as his attention went back to the game as well.

Watching the Game
Author: Ginny Weasley
Date: 06-22-02 19:55

Ginny sat watching the game as Harry, her brother's, and Sammi all flew around trying to score for Gryffindor. As she watched, Brett came striding along and she motioned for him to join her.

As they sat they talked about different classes and about the weather and about each other. When Ginny started to shiver a bit, Brett said, " Ginny you look cold. Would you like my jacket?"

After a moment she replied," Sure. It's pretty chilly out here today."

Soon they sat side-by-side so close that you couldn't even sqeeze a piece of paper between them. Suddenly a thought came to Ginny's head, I wonder what Harry would say if he say Brett and I this close. He has been a little shy around me lately. She laughed and drew Brett's attention back to her.

When he asked what was so funny, she told him nothing and that it was just a thought that was funny. They hudled back together and and let out a cheer for both teams since Prote- Australia's boyfriend -was on the Hufflepuff team and since it was their own house that was playing in the game.

Nah nah nuh boo boo! I gots the quaffle!
Author: Alicia Spinnet
Date: 06-23-02 06:34

Alicia races to the end of the field, dodging other players. Making it safely to the Hufflepuff's scoring zone, she hurls it at the closest hoop, only to be blocked by their keeper. She grumbles and moves on, attempting to get the quaffle back from Hufflepuff without succeeding.

[Location Undisclosed] Taking a Break
Author: Briar Rose
Date: 06-23-02 20:22

The day she'd sat on the Spanish Steps in Rome, the only conclusion Briar had reached was that she was in desperate need of a break from everything. Someplace where she wouldn't have to worry about someone stumbling across her secret, where she could block all thoughts of the missing Bill from her mind, where the day to day work of the bakery was someone else's responsibility. Briar had returned to the small house into which she'd apparated and from there returned to the bakery. After quickly packing a bag, Briar told the Donnelleys she needed to get away for awhile. She told them to hire whatever help they needed to continue running the bakery then Briar walked over to the post office and drafted a short message to Julian and another for the Weasleys. Adriana could find out on her own that Briar was getting away for awhile. Both messages were to be delivered only after she'd left. From there, Briar disapparated appearing moments later before a tiny cottage in a secluded area. Since that day, Briar has done nothing but read books, take long walks, and managed to only worry about Bill a million times.

Saturday morning, after watching another glorious sunrise, Briar had eaten a light breakfast then gone for another walk. Upon returning, she'd nestled down in front of a roaring fire and settled back to read. As she did this, she thought to herself, "All is not right in the world but at least things are peaceful here."

The Gryffindor chaser catches the quaffle and goes to make a goal but Prote blocks it easily. Neo makes a goal then passes it to me. I pass the quaffle to Douglas but it is caught by a Gryffindor chaser, who scores a goal. I zoom towards the quaffle when the bludger hits me. Ouch! I turn around to see who it was. That's pointless because both beaters look the same.

Watching the Game
Author: Dierna ní Cíaran
Date: 06-23-02 21:21

Dressed sportingly in gold and red, I take a seat by Remus Lupin. He gives me a knowing smile. "Hello, Dierna. Nice you could make it." "Slainte, Remus. Of COURSE I made it. I never missed a game as a student, I don't know why I should start missing them now." The game starts off with Gryffindor in possession. In no time at all, is in full swing and I'm cheering loudly for Gryffindor.

To the Pitch
Author: Alexis Black
Date: 06-24-02 10:36

Most of the Slytherins greeted the coming game with undisguised apathy. There was nothing much to be done on that chilly Saturday morning, except go. Pyrrhus and Azaelia stood idly in the great hall, delaying their trip to the quidditch pitch. They were waiting for their partners in crime, Isolde and Alexis, to return from the dormitories. Neither had disclosed what was going on, and Pyrrhus and Azaelia had no idea what their friends were up to. It was after a not-so-patient fifteen minute wait that the girls finally showed up. Each carried two large bottles of butterbeer.

Pyrrhus grinned, "Always worth the wait." No one needed to ask, they all knew he was referring to Isolde, and not the drinks in her hands. She grinned and gave him a bottle, accompanied by a kiss. Alexis handed a bottle to Azaelia, and said flatly to Isolde and Pyrrhus, "Let's not get too involved, you still have the entire game to get intimate." They parted with mischievous grins, and Alexis matched with one of her own. Azaelia, however, was adamant in her melancholy mood.

The fearsome-foursome made their way to the quidditch pitch. On the way, Isolde and Alexis revealed their master plan after making sure they were alone. The butterbeer was spiked with Alexis' tardy holiday gift, a surefire way to make a boring game a bit more interesting.

Dodge Ball
Author: H Potter
Date: 06-24-02 14:42

The second the match begins, Harry is actively searching for the snitch. He starts off flying high above the action then begins zig zagging back and forth across the pitch, slowly working his way lower. Reaching one end of the field, he hovers for a few minutes, then begins making his way to the other end of the field, again zig zagging only this time inching higher and higher. About halfway to the other end, he becomes stationary, looking down at the fast paced action of the other players. Almost too late to avoid being hit, Harry so narrowly dodges a bludger that his broom shudders under him from where the bludger grazed it. Harry swivels around in an effort to see which of the Hufflepuff beaters almost got him but from the present position of the Becks and the fact that both have huge grins on their faces, he can't be sure which one it was. With a slight shrug, Harry returns to his vigilant search for the ever elusive snitch.

A Mighty WHACK!
Author: Kendra Beck
Date: 06-24-02 17:09

Kendra zoomed around on her broomstick, her bat in her right hand. She was keeping an eye out for her teammates when she saw a bludger headed right towards one of her teammates!

"Oh, no!" Kendra sped over and gave it a mighty whack, sending it flying towards none other than Harry Potter. It grazed him, and by the time Kendra could giggle she turned to see Toby at her side.

"Great one, Sis!" They high fived and turned, grinned at Harry, then gave a wave and hurried off to defend other teammates.

Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff

"Hello everyone! Lee Jordan here! Welcome to Quidditch! Gryffindor VS Hufflepuff!

"There goes Captain Harry Potter looking for the snitch! Whoa! Nice block by Fred or George Weasley! I can't tell which! Go Go Gryffindor!"

Professor Mcgonagall shouts, "Jordan!!"

"Oh sorry, Professor.

"Hufflepuff Scores! Hard Luck Gryffindor! C'mon Potter, don't give up now!"

I take my seat to watch the game. Shortly after, Dierna arrives and sits beside me. She is dressed in red and gold.

"Hello, Dierna. Nice you could make it," I tell her.

"Slainte, Remus. Of COURSE I made it. I never missed a game as a student, I don't know why I should start missing them now."

The game starts, Dierna and I cheer on Gryffindor. The game brings back many school memories.

Blockin' a Pass, Blockin' a Goal
Author: Fred Weasley
Date: 06-25-02 09:09

Fred zoomed around on his broomstick, eagerly swatting his bat around as the bludgers soared through the air with the intent on knocking each and every player down to the ground. Somehow, Hufflepuff gained possession of the quaffle and Fred spotted one of their chasers, Douglas Sky, flitting towards the hoops. His flight in that direction was blocked however, and Douglas was forced to pass the ball to one of the other chasers, Amerah Patterson. Suddenly, a bludger came whizzing towards Fred. He backhanded the sucker, which fortunately knocked Douglas' pass off course.

"Yes!" Fred shouted in delight as he pumped his fist into the air.

There was another mad scramble for the quaffle, and once again, Hufflepuff received possession of the ball. Amerah shot through the air like an arrow, eagerly approaching the hoops in order to attempt a goal.

"Oh no you don't," Fred muttered under his breath, and with one solid whack sent a bludger hurdling towards Amerah just as she was releasing the quaffle to make a goal. Thankfully, Fred's bludger knocked the quaffle off course.

Amerah turned around, eyeing Fred with distinct confusion in her eyes. "Oy! It's Fred!" he said, laughing.

More Butterbeer, Please
Author: Isolde
Date: 06-25-02 10:20

Pyrrhus, Isolde, Alexis, and the melancholy Azaelia found empty seats in the Slytherin stands and squished in between some of their comrades. They were bundled up tightly in warm winter coats with bright green and silver scarves wrapped around their necks. Though it was a bit warmer outside then it had been over the holidays, the air still had quite a bite to it.

As the game progressed, the bottles became considerably more and more empty. All four Slytherins had a blush in their cheeks that wasn't there before, and it wasn't just a side-effect from the frosty breeze outside. Even Azaelia found herself in fits of giggles, which was exactly the kind of mood Isolde and Alexis were hoping they'd get her in. She seemed to forget all the sadness that had built up within her since Robert left Hogwarts, even if it was only a momentary lapse. It was nice to see her smiling and laughing as if there wasn't a care in the world.

Joining Ginny and Brett in the Stands
Author: Hermione Granger
Date: 06-26-02 10:23

Hermione and Ron arrived at the Pitch a little late. Anyone who noticed their late entry probably thought that the two had enjoyed some quality alone time in a broom closet, but in truth, Hermione had dragged Ron to the library to get in some studying. Afterall, the OWLs were just around the corner.

The pair found empty seats by Ginny and Brett, and sat down, saying their hellos. Then, Ron asked to be filled in on what had happened so far in the game. As Brett gave him the play-by-play, Hermione concentrated on the action on the field. Fred and George were soaring about, swinging their bats to and fro. Alicia, Angelina, and Katie were racing through the air in hot pursuit of the quaffle, which was currently in Hufflepuff possession. Sammi was perched on her broom next to the Gryffindor hoops with a determined look upon her face, and Harry was high in the air, desperately searching for that golden snitch.

At the Game
Author: Prescott Clearwater
Date: 06-26-02 11:27

Prefect Prescott Clearwater was only at the game because team captain made it mandatory to be at all games, even when it wasn't a house team they were facing next. It was a good idea but Prescott had his mind on two things. 1. His prefect duties 2. Bronwyn Dewhurst (his Snow Ball date).

Bronwyn told Prescott that she only wanted to be friends, which crushed his dream of them being a couple.

As Lee announced HUFFLEPUFFS SCORE! Prescott didn't even look up. Usually this meant he was reading his favorite book "Prefects Who Gained Power" but he was rather sad and didn't want people to see him in such a state! (first rule in Percy Weasley's manual: "Never show them emotion") So rather than stay at the game, he headed back toward the castle. Others called his name and asked what was wrong but he ignored them all...

As he opened the castle door, he ran into the wrong people! Slytherins!

Nott smiling said, "What have we here boys? A Chickenclaw! Oops I mean, a Ravenclaw prefect!"

Crabbe and Goyle chuckled in their usual tone.

"Move it Nott, or that's 5 points from Slytherin!" said Prescott bravely.

The Slytherins laughed and said, "Don't think so...Mudblood!"

Someone came into view. It was none other than Draco Malfoy, Slytherin Quidditch Captain and Prefect!

Draco said with loathing, "5 points Clearwater? I don't think so!"

"Now you listen MALFOY! Your friends here were in my way! I asked them to move but they wanted trouble. If you stand in my way, I will give YOU trouble Malfoy!"

Both prefects pulled out thier wands and stood in a duel stance.

Malfoy laughing said, "Who's going to be your second Clearwater? You've no Friends! Hahahaha! They're all at the quidditch match!"

Just then someone came at Prescott's side...

The Past Week in Brief
Author: Bill Weasley
Date: 06-26-02 15:33

Bill entered the Pitch with one arm around his mother and the other around his father. A week ago, he would have never thought that he would be watching a Quidditch game with his family. A week ago, he didn't even know who his family was.

It had been on a chilly Saturday morning when Bill had slipped out of the flat he shared with Aaron and Bernie to head on over to the coffee shop, where he was scheduled to meet with a reporter. He was to be interviewed and the story was to be aired on the news with the hope that a family member or friend would recognize him. Previous such attempts had failed, but it didn't hurt to try again. Bill had gone about London without a real identity for nearly a month, and he was desperately eager to finally discover the truth.

Luck must have been on Bill's side, for he was easily recognized by the reporter's colleague. Penelope Clearwater, who after noticing the blank look on Bill's face had further identified herself as Percy's girlfriend. The name Percy was anything but new to Bill, because he recalled making fun of the name when he and Aaron had first gone through the Christmas list nearly a month ago.

Penelope had been so relieved to find Bill, and within a matter of moments, Bill's parents came bustling into the room in a flurry of joy and excitement. He was in so much shock, that he hardly took note that the amount of time between Penny's phone call and his parents' arrival was quite short. He didn't even have enough time to adjust to the knowledge that he had been found by people who loved him, and then he was suddenly whisked away into a world that seemed incredibly unreal. Magic? I think not.

Magic it was, however. The trip through the fireplace with Floo Powder had been an interesting experience, to say the least. Their destination was a multi-storeyed, rickety house, known as the Burrow. Upon arrival, Bill's mum had flitted around the house, making tea and other goodies for her lost boy; so many tears welling up in her eyes as she bustled about the kitchen, clattering pots and teacups around.

Bill's dad and Penny had studied him curiously, asking questions ever so often about what he could and couldn't remember. They had even answered Bill's own questions, such as what he did for a living. "A curse breaker? Yeah, right." Alas, it was true, but Bill looked at his family members so skeptically, that they realized it was time to do something about his memory loss.

"I'll owl Percy," Penny had said, leaving the room immediately.

Owl? Bill had hardly enough time to ponder just what that meant, because Molly sped into the room with a teacup and a plate of sweets. While he ate and drank, she fawned over his short hair, saying over and over again how wonderful he looked. Somehow Bill wondered if what she was saying was true, because each time she stroked his short hair, she burst into another round of tears.

After a while, Penny had returned with Percy at his side. Bill had seemed very pleased to be re-acquainted with his brother, and was even more excited to learn that the names Charlie, Fred, George, and Ron, which had been on his Christmas list, were those of his other brothers. He had also learned the identities of the women on his list: Ginny, his one and only sister; Briar, a dear friend of his; and Adriana, the love of his life.

The next day had been spent trying to restore Bill's memory. He had explained over and over again that his memory was lost due to an accident, but his parents suggested something quite different. Something quite bogus in Bill's opinion. Yet, somehow the memory of hopping through a fireplace to get to this house, or the fact that everyone seemed to have a wand really got him thinking. Even he had a wand, Percy claimed, although Bill really didn't remember leaving one behind in Aaron's flat.

Finally, Arthur had attempted a counterspell to the memory charm that was placed on Bill, and in a flash, memories came flooding back as if a dam had been broken free. It was an odd feeling, suddenly remembering things that seemed long forgotten. Two memories in particular stuck out in Bill's mind–the secret he shared with Briar, and the secrets he shared with Adriana. He spilled everything else that came to mind, however; everything from the pranks the twins had played on him, to his first day at work in Egypt. For the first time in a month, Bill felt like himself again.

Briar and Adriana had been notified of Bill's discovery, and Adriana had immediately come running. It was a wonderful reunion for the pair, but Bill could sense that there was some hostility between her and Briar. When he mentioned Briar to Adriana, she tensed and mentioned that the two hadn't spoken in a while. He chose not to pry at that moment–being reunited with the one he loved was more important that starting up another investigation.

It was a few days later when Bill realized that he had left Muggle London and Aaron behind without prior notice. He had wondered if his friend was worried about him, and decided that he would pay him a visit that afternoon. Molly, of course, had been dead set against it, but after Bill told her he'd bring Adriana along, she had agreed.

The two had apparated to the Leaky Cauldron, and from there set out to Aaron's flat. Luckily, they found him just as he was returning home from work. Aaron seemed genuinely pleased and relieved to see Bill again, and to know that his memory had returned. "Bea will be disappointed to know that you've already got a girl," Aaron had joked, after Adriana had been introduced to him. Bill had begun to apologize for disappearing without prior notice, but Aaron had cut him off and explained that there had been a short news briefing on it the day of Bill's discovery. After an hour of catching up, Bill had collected some of his belongings and was about to ask if he had by chance left a wand behind, but thought better of it. Aaron would have probably just looked at Bill as if he was a fruitcake.

After exchanging contact information, Bill and Adriana had left Aaron and spent the remainder of the day touring Muggle London, as they had done many months ago. It is so lovely being with her again, Bill had thought as he cradled his girlfriend under his arm.

It was that evening when Adriana had gone back to Hogwarts, and Bill had returned to the Burrow, when Molly scurried about the house with tears pouring down her cheeks. She was clutching a letter tightly in her hands. She had stopped in her tracks, when Bill popped in and exclaimed to her son through ragged sobbing, "Charlie! He's out of quarantine!"

No sooner had that been said, when Charlie apparated to the Burrow, immediately being buried in a pile of happy bodies. At last, the family was complete once more.

That morning as they slid into their seats in the stands, Bill grinned over to Charlie who returned the smile. The twins were zooming around the field, and Ron and Ginny were sitting together in the Gryffindor section. Adriana was no where to be seen, but Bill knew she'd be there. Her students would kill her if she missed yet another game!

Ah, but life was good when you were surrounded by the people who love you. There was just one more person he wanted to see, and then Bill would feel complete. He made a mental note to visit the Bakery when his parents would finally let him leave the Burrow and return to his room in Hogsmeade.

Woops...I Forgot Something in My Room
Author: Ginny Weasley
Date: 06-26-02 18:43

Shortly after Hermione and Ron joined Ginny and Brett at the game, Ginny realized that she had forgotten something in her room. Before she left she made sure to give Ron, Hermione, and Brett a big hug. But as she went to hug Brett, he leaned up and kissed her on the cheek.

Both smiled and Ginny turned and went on her way promising that she would re-turn shortly if the game wasn't over by the time she made it back. As she hurried out of the pitch, she saw none other than Prescott Clearwater returning to the castle himself.

When she reached the castle and walked inside, Prescott was standing in a duel stance with Malfoy. Both had their wands in hand and were about to begin when she walked up and asked what was going on. They both had replied nothing as Prescott tried to urge Ginny into going back to the game, but she had resisted.

Prescott had then said she could stay as long as she promised not to tell anyone what she was about to watch. She had promised and crossed her heart.
